Internet Elections - The ballot package is delivered electronically, and members vote on a secure website maintaining anonymity of the voter. Please contact us regarding new Electronic Voting Guidelines published Nov. 2016 by the US Dept. of Labor - Office of Labor Management Standards.
In-Person Paper Ballots - When a voter arrives, we authenticate their identity and eligibility to vote in our proprietary registration system and we digitally capture their signature. They are then given a ballot to mark in a private booth and place in a sealed voting box. Upon closing of the polls, the ballots are scanned using our OMR/OCR scanning and tabulation software featuring de-skewing, de-speckline and image correction for accurate results that are auditable in 3 ways; the software results, the image of the ballot and the paper ballot itself.
Traditional Paper Mail Elections - We handle this process from design of the ballots, printing and mailing, ensuring the most favorable postal rates available. On tabulation day, the envelopes are scanned into our proprietary registration system to check eligibility of the voter and to ensure no member votes twice. Hybrid Elections - If the leadership chooses this method, members are given options of how they want to vote; mail ballot, online or in-person.
Online Interaction - This technology provides a way for people to interact with their elected representatives, candidates, NGO's, Unions and other membership driven groups to hear proposals or ideas with real-time results.
